Framework has scooped a series of high profile awards – thanks to its ultra efficient off-site construction techniques and strong sustainability ethos.

This includes the prestigious Off-Site Specialist of the Year title at the Specialist Contractor Awards 2006, hosted by Building magazine.

The Civic Trust Awards, Europe’s largest and most comprehensive environmental design contest, honoured two Framework projects in 2006 for their outstanding green credentials and fit-for-purpose, eco friendly design.

Skelton Grange Environment Centre, Leeds - Developed for the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers, Framework’s system trimmed 35% off the construction budget for this sustainability-focused building and three months off the build programme

Prior Weston School, Islington – Judges said the single storey extension at the school was a “a good example of a temporary, yet sustainable scheme”

The Prior Weston project, designed in partnership with architects Penoyre Prasad for a London Borough of Islington contest, was also awarded a much acclaimed RIBA Award in 2005. The building, which is entirely recyclable in readiness for a permanent replacement being constructed, was described by the judges as “a triumph of good sense”.

More recently Framework won the education category of the inaugural OSC (Off Site Construction) Awards organised by OSC magazine. The company was also short listed in a second category.
