At what stage does Framework become involved in a project?

As early as possible, pre stage D if practicable, to allow Framework to advise on the best use of our system in your design. We like to collaborate in as many areas as possible and become integrated with the design team as a partner - in order to manage out as many risks as possible for our clients.

How do we obtain a quotation?

Framework will provide budget guidance at an early stage, usually by working up a target cost or GMP to allow the design to develop with confidence.

Will Framework price tender documents as part of a competitive process?

Yes, but this is not necessarily the best way to achieve best value from our techniques and service. We would prefer you to consider a Framework option against your own cost targets and benchmarked costs from alternative solutions.

How can we achieve best value?

By working with us and sharing ideas.

What are delivery and lead in times?

From the point at which Framework has achieved dimensioned general arrangement drawings, we typically would require 4-6 weeks to develop these into integrated structural and manufacturing drawings. Factory availability is usually on a 6-12 week lead in. Early collaboration and appointment to the team allows production space to be secured at no cost, guaranteeing the earliest contract completion.

How do I pay for a Framework Building?

In the same way any other building project would be paid for, agreed in stages.

Can we work with your existing design team?

Yes. We actively encourage new architectural uses of our system so welcome the chance to work with existing teams.

We have a ‘Framework Agreement’– can you work with it?

Yes, Framework can be appointed in a whole or part by contractors from your existing list if necessary.
