Can I determine the specification of my building? |
Yes, absolutely, in every respect including thermal and acoustic performance as well as aesthetics. |
| |
|
Can I have curves and large spans? |
Design elements such as curves and large spans are entirely possible and wholly feasible. |
| |
|
What are the limitations in terms of structural openings and fenestration? |
There are no limitations, within reason. Framework’s panel system is tied with a head beam which acts as a lintel and can be designed to allow the use of curtain walling, removable or sliding screens and other such elements. |
| |
|
What sort of roof can I have? |
Pitched, flat, mono-pitched and even curved if desired. Coverings can be chosen accordingly too. |
| |
|
Can I incorporate renewables? |
Of course, at Framework we actively encourage the use of renewable or alternative energy sources. We have considerable experience in advising on these elements and would be able to suggest the most cost-effective and beneficial options available to you if required. |
| |
|
Can I just use Framework to provide the superstructure Frame to my preferred constructor? |
Yes, frame-only solutions are available. We can provide a warranted superstructure solution erected by Framework, for your builder to finish. |
| |
|
Can we provide a design team? |
Framework has in-house structural engineering and architectural services along with mechanical and electrical engineering design capabilities. This means that we can offer a genuine turnkey solution. We are also able to adopt or incorporate members of currently assembled design teams, where required. |
| |
|
Is the Framework service always design and build? |
Usually, yes, but not exclusively. We are able to act as supply chain partners or can construct to a fully detailed design if required. |
| |
|
How many storeys can be created? |
Technically up to six, however we recommend that for a system to provide best value up to four is best. |
